pirate's cutlass or the maw of a sea serpent might spell
a bitter end, but the arcane chants of a master sorcerer

Validon is a friendly, creative roleplaying community. We have talented writers, hardworking staff, and interesting plots. There are various methods to roleplay that allow for members to be active who may have issues with time. Our posted plays vary from email plays edited and posted to the board, IM/Chat logs edited and posted to the board, or just plain board played threads. We prefer that a member have AIM or Trillion, or some IM that can interact with AIM, so that they don't miss out on group chat play scenes. On rare occasion we do play in AOL based public chats which can only be accessed by having AOL though we do not require you to have it. Our members are friendly and helpful, and can answer questions even if a staff member is not around, and if not then a staff member can answer them for you by IM, PM, or email. We look forward to seeing you on our forums, and perhaps seeing an application!
We strongly encourage members to use a messenger that allows interaction in AIM chats or IMs.
